Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage
A technique used by all Juniper RMTs
Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue — areas where chronic tension, restriction, and discomfort tend to hold on longest. It uses slower, more focused pressure to release tight muscles, break down adhesions, and restore movement in areas that feel stuck or persistently sore.
What Can Deep Tissue Techniques Help With?
Chronic muscle tension and tightness
Knots and adhesions in soft tissue
Restricted range of motion
Persistent soreness from repetitive strain or postural habits
Recovery from injury or overuse
How It's Used at Juniper
Deep tissue is a technique, not a treatment type on its own. Your therapist will begin with an assessment to understand what your body needs that day. Together you'll decide on the best approach — which may incorporate deep tissue work alongside other techniques depending on what will be most effective for you.
You're always encouraged to speak up during your treatment. Pressure and focus areas can be adjusted at any time.
